We are looking for a Junior HR Specialist to join our human resources team and support the smooth delivery of core HR processes across the organization. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is organized, people-oriented, discreet, and eager to build a long-term career in human resources. The Junior HR Specialist will assist with a wide range of administrative and operational tasks related to recruitment, onboarding, employee records, internal communication, policy support, and general HR coordination.
In this role, you will work closely with HR colleagues, hiring managers, and employees to help maintain efficient and compliant people processes. You will support recruitment activities by scheduling interviews, posting job advertisements, screening basic applications, and communicating with candidates throughout the hiring process. You will also help prepare onboarding materials, collect employment documentation, and ensure new hires have a positive and well-organized start.
The successful candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism. You should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, HR systems, and digital documentation tools. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success in this position.
Beyond recruitment and onboarding, the Junior HR Specialist will help maintain employee files, update HR databases, track attendance or leave records, and support the preparation of reports for internal use. You may also assist with employee engagement initiatives, training coordination, benefits administration support, and responses to routine employee questions. This role offers broad exposure to HR operations and provides a strong foundation for future growth in talent acquisition, employee relations, learning and development, or HR administration.
